The CCC plans and executes public events, campaigns, and maintains a community needs assessment through separate committees. Gambling Risks and how it relates to Substance Use Disorder

Individuals with addictive personalities may be especially vulnerable to gambling problems during this time. Additionally, some people may switch from one addiction to another, such as from substance abuse to gambling, if underlying issues remain untreated. The seasonal spike in gambling-related problems highlights the need for targeted treatment during high-risk periods. Analyzing relevant data and personal stories can enhance prevention and treatment strategies.
