Gambling Risks and how it relates to Substance Use Disorder

CCDP Downtown 328 E Elk Ave, Ste 2, Elizabethton, TN, United States

As football season kicks off, we see a surge in website searches and a rise in treatment requests for sports betting issues. Individuals with addictive personalities may be especially vulnerable to gambling problems during this time. Additionally, some people may switch from one addiction to another, such as from substance abuse to gambling, if underlying issues remain untreated. The seasonal spike in gambling-related problems highlights the need for targeted treatment during high-risk periods. Analyzing relevant data and personal stories can enhance prevention and treatment strategies.

Join us on October 7th to learn more about gambling risks and how it relates to substance use disorder!
