Weekly all-inclusive Dad Support Group for fathers to lean on one another, share experiences, and exchange advice. Our Fatherhood Reconnection Program focuses on supporting fathers in recovery as they navigate the challenges of reconnecting with their children after years of absence. We provide resources and activities that demonstrate the significant impact of consistency and the importance of simply being present in their children's lives. Nurturing Notes – Music & Movement for Moms and Kids Join Carter County Drug Prevention for Nurturing Notes, a fun and interactive class designed to bring moms and their children together through the joy of music and movement! Through singing, dancing, and playful activities, families will strengthen their bonds, encourage creativity, and build meaningful connections in a welcoming and supportive environment. No musical experience needed—just come ready to move, laugh, and make memories together! When: 4th Wednesday of Every Month | 6:00–7:00 PM Where: Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library Come sing, dance, and grow together—one nurturing note at a time!

Looking for a chill place to unwind, play games, and meet new friends? Our weekly Chess Club is open to youth who enjoy chess, checkers, card games, board games, and anything in between! Drop in anytime during our open hours, stay as long as you like, and jump into a game—or just hang out and learn something new. It’s a fun, easygoing space where everyone is welcome. Motherhood Support Group Join Carter County Drug Prevention every Wednesday evening for our Motherhood Support Group! This welcoming and supportive space is designed for women in recovery and their children to connect, build friendships, share experiences, and grow together. Through encouragement, meaningful activities, and community support, we celebrate the journey of motherhood and recovery. Children are always welcome! Free art workshop for youth ages 8-18. This gathering is held in an open creativity environment where youth will be encouraged to express themselves and learn how visual arts can serve as a healthy coping skills. Snacks and drinks provided. Workshops are led by our Executive Director, Nash Acuña, Professional Artist and Certified Creative Life Coach Special thanks to TDMHSAS and The Mooneyhan Family Foundation for their support of this program!
