Creating a healthy Carter County through peer-led programs and education.
CCDP Youth Coalition is a youth-led, adult-supported program dedicated to preventing drug and alcohol use among students in grades 4–12. Open to all youth regardless of background, identity, or experience, YC provides a safe and inclusive space where young people can learn, lead, and make a difference in their schools and communities.
Through interactive workshops, community service projects, leadership development, and peer-led education, coalition members build skills to live drug-free and help others do the same. We believe every young person has the power to be a positive influence and a changemaker.
YC members participated in a game called Escape the Vape to learn more about the risks and pitfalls of vaping.
