Carter County Home School and Community 4-H club
August 12, 2027 @ 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm UTC+0
Carter County Home School and Community 4–H club is an active group of students grades 4-7th who meet monthly at the Carter County Drug Prevention 210 S Hills Dr. Elizabethton office for contests, educational lessons and fun. This group is open to all home-educated and private school students, with specific programming for grades 4-8. Older and younger siblings may attend, but parents must mind the younger students and older students may not find the lessons challenging. Contests include public speaking, photography, poster, recycled craft, and demonstration. Some of these contests have a possibility to compete at the county, regional and state levels. We discuss upcoming county and state events which 4–H members may be eligible for, which include day camps, judging teams, livestock shows, and summer camps. There is no cost to participate in the monthly club meetings, but other activities may have a cost associated. To register, visit: https://forms.gle/wk66HMeLGjxMHbDr9
